ଏମିତି ମୁଣ୍ଡାଇ ଚାଲିଥିବେ

ମୁଁ ଲଦି ଚାଲିଥିବା ବୋଝ?

କେତେ ଦିନ ମୋର ଗୁରୁ ସହି ଚାଲିଥିବେ

ଅବୁଝା ଶିଷ୍ୟର ଅସରନ୍ତି ଅକର୍ମାପଣ

I am not required to be told blatant lies to bolster my faith in my Lord

(Yes, Lord Jagannath is there, blessing us. I am a firm believer in existence of God and Lord Jagannath. But, I am not required to be told blatant lies to bolster my faith in my Lord.)

(ମୋ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି । ମୋ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ତି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୋତେ ମିଛର ସାହାରା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ନାହିଁ । ପୁରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଛାଇ ପଡେ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ସେମିତି ଏକ ମିଛ ।) 

Many 'mysteries' are galore about Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri. One of them is that shadow of the majestic temple never falls or no body has seen shadow of the temple. Even a reputed news publisher like Times of India also carried such a myth (See screenshot of that publication). Many seers and top saints also fall to such a 'mystery'. 

I believe that this 'mystery' is absolutely non-existent and thus false. Shadow of the temple is clearly visible from satellite images. Pasting below is Google Earth images of the temple on different as proof. In all the images, the shadow is clearly visible.

I am firm believer in God and Lord Jagannath. I do visit Lord Jagannath temple at Puri frequently. Every time, I get feeling of existence of a great energy and confidence within me. I am not, or no true believer is, required to be told lies to have faith in my God. 

My Lord does not require lies to get respect of bhakts. My Lord exists, not just in that great temple, but also everywhere.
